This is a French M1874 Bayonet for the Gras Rifle. It features a 20.5" "T" back blade and an overall length of 25.5, the spine of the blade is marked "Mre d'Armes de St Etienne" followed by a date of September, 1878. Overall condition is very good, there is some patina to the crosspiece but the blade is very clean blade with nice clear markings. The scabbard is in nice shape with very little wear to the bluing, the number on it does not match the bayonet. Buy online today!
