This is a German WW2 bayonet for the Mauser K98 rifle. It features a 9.75" blade and 15" in overall length, the ricasso is serial numbered "6090" on one side and "43ffc" on the other indicating is was made in 1943 by Friedrich Herder Abr.Sohn, Solingen. Overall condition is fair, the blade has been sharpened and the tip is a tiny bit warped, there is some rust, light pitting and patina on the handle and pommel in some areas. The scabbard has some were and patina, the number on it does not match the bayonet, the frog leather is in decent shape and is probably original to the scabbard. Buy online today!
