This is an original Swiss Maschinenfabrik Bern M1889 Bayonet for Schmidt-Rubin M1889 or M1911 rifle. It features an 11.5" blade, wood grips and ricasso marked "WAFFENFABRIK NEUHAUSEN". The blade has been very poorly sharpened and shortened slightly from it's original length of 11.75", the blade, guard, hilt and pommel has some tarnishing, rust and patina.
